A community of self-directed learners each on a hero's journey.
Socratically discussing meaningful ideas,
solving interesting problems with friends,
&
developing the skills for a good life.
What is an Acton Academy?
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Imagine your hero...
conquering real world projects
...not doing busy work
setting their own goals and pace
...not sitting bored in a classroom
developing life-long habits
...not cramming short term knowledge
"Why couldn't my school be like this?" and "How can I send my kids to Acton?"
